Genelle facilite les programmes de renforcement et d'autonomisation des jeunes Noirs, des jeunes femmes noires et des familles noires dans sa communaut\u00e9. <!--more-->Genelle est membre du comit\u00e9 des femmes de la Chambre de commerce noire du Canada, o\u00f9 elle coordonne des ateliers et met en contact de jeunes femmes d'affaires noires. Genelle si\u00e8ge au conseil consultatif du Kujenga Family Wellness Project, o\u00f9 elle soutient la mise \u00e0 disposition de ressources communautaires qui promeuvent la sant\u00e9 et le bien-\u00eatre des Noirs. Genelle a une connaissance approfondie des modes de fonctionnement du racisme dans le syst\u00e8me de sant\u00e9 au Canada. Genelle est dou\u00e9e pour la communication et la consultation sur la lutte contre le racisme et les d\u00e9terminants sociaux de la sant\u00e9. L'exp\u00e9rience communautaire de Genelle et sa connaissance des in\u00e9galit\u00e9s en mati\u00e8re de sant\u00e9 et du racisme syst\u00e9mique au Canada se sont d\u00e9velopp\u00e9es en une passion combin\u00e9e de la justice sociale et de l'\u00e9quit\u00e9 en mati\u00e8re de sant\u00e9, ancr\u00e9e dans des exp\u00e9riences personnelles de racisme dans les milieux universitaires et professionnels.
