Abi Ajibola

After a decade-long career in the banking industry spanning Strategy, Business Development and Business Analysis functions in two of Africa’s largest Banks, Abi transited fully into the creative industry as a portrait photographer. Her passionate pursuit of photography in the last 12 years as well as her data analysis, research, stakeholder management, problem-solving and business development skills equips her to be a successful Photographer Entrepreneur. A graduate of New York Institute of Photography (NYIP) and Microbusiness Training Centre, Abi is an astute learner, having completed several online and in person photography and business courses. She is being remotely mentored by some of the world’s best portrait and baby photographers through their educational programs.

Throughout her career, she has photographed hundreds of families for newborn and family portraits, weddings and other events. She was recently a contributor to Edmonton Community Foundation’s (ECF) Legacy in Action Magazine. Abi Ajibola is the CEO and lead Photographer at Memoirs Photography by Abi in St Albert, Alberta.  Despite being a new player in the greater Edmonton Area and Canada as a whole, she is fast being recognized for the quality of her work and excellent service in the greater Edmonton area.
