LUNA LAB

Louna Délicieux is a creative entrepreneur healing her inner child through her childhood hobby- nail art!

"I love playing the piano, playing sports and I tend to work A LOT. I didn't want to have to choose between my work and beautiful nails and now I don't have to.

I’ve been painting since I was 9 years old, but started LUNA LAB in 2019, a year before the pandemic. We started to see growth in 2020 as nail salons closed down.

We continuously vend at markets and got into stores in 2021 starting with the Black Owned Toronto pop up storefront.

Brought LUNA LAB to the CNE in 2022 to test out a new nail service, and it worked! People were delighted to hear that they could get sized, then come back an hour later to pick up their sets.

As a top-24 semi-finalist who will get to pitch, what does this opportunity mean to you?

This is an incredible opportunity for me and my business because it could mean a serious transformation for the impact we can have with LUNA LAB. The workshops and coaching calls will also help us to get even more clarity on how to be successful and will help us to each our goals and dreams in a tangible way. We’re so excited to pitch, put our all into this competition and hopefully take home the winning prize!

What has been a highlight for you in participating in the Rise Up Pitch Competition?

So far the biggest highlight has been making to to the semi finals and knowing that I’ll be able to get mentorship from experienced executives. Mentorship and feedback so important to me and have been essential to my success so far. I’m looking forward to the growth I’ll be able to share with others when comparing my business from the start of this competition to the end.
