Nicole Osbourne James

A spoken word artist turned comedian, enoje (EN-oh-jay) has performed in numerous shows both onstage and online, including Black Like She, Dat Gyal Funny at Toronto’s Harbourfront Centre, the Plano Comedy Festival, and Things Black Girls Say at the Comedy Bar. She has also performed for businesses, government, and non-profit organizations including the YMCA, BELA (Birth Equity Action Network), The Neighbourhood Group (TNG) Community Services, and Red Door Family Shelter. With her production project “Bish Funny” (short for “But Is She Funny”), enoje has produced several events including the Laugh aLong Weekend comedy show, the Bag of Foolishness comedy series, and Feelings: the Emotional Open Mic. She recently partnered with the CineFAM Film Festival as a host. And she is also on the Executive Board of the Black Women in Comedy Laff Fest in New York. enoje is the host of Let ‘Em Eat Laughs, a conversation series about comedians, food, and culture. As a self-proclaimed “Comedy Practitioner”, enoje coordinates Healing and Humour (HaH!) events in support of Black Mental Health.
